About The sons of thunder project

James and John, called the Sons of Thunder by Jesus, were tenacious and intense.  Sometimes these brothers got themselves into trouble by jumping to conclusions or lashing out.  We also know that they were humble enough to allow Jesus to transform them into two of the greatest men to ever live.  Their impact on the world is immeasurable because, with the help of the Savior, they took their intensity and enthusiasm and directed it toward the highest possible purpose.

At the Sons of Thunder Project we believe that heroism is not reserved for superheroes in comic books.  Men everywhere have the opportunity to be heroes in their families and in their communities when they choose to shoulder their responsibilities with excitement and enthusiasm.  We encourage men to live lives of strength, courage, duty and integrity.  The pathway through the chaos that is engulfing the world must be paved by strong, good men.
